Howdy ladies and gents! My name is Sherry. As a junior in college with a major in Radio-TV-Film and a minor in Journalism, it’s hard to believe that I have less than two years of school left. I guess time flies when you’re having fun, right?
I suppose I should tell you a little bit about myself. I absolutely love the outdoors and being active. You might see me bike riding or jogging along the Fox River. Or maybe on a rainy day, I’ll be at the Rec Center. I also keep up-to-date on events happening in the Union. I love seeing the comedians, hypnotists (yes, I’ve been hypnotized before!), and magicians that the Reeve Union Board brings to campus. Lastly, it’s weird to say, I know, but I enjoy my homework! As a junior, I’m starting to get more hands-on and involved with my major. I’ve worked with high-tech cameras, movie editing, photo shop, the radio station and so much more. How neat is that?!
As a student that loves getting involved, I can tell you there are many clubs and activities that are offered here on campus. I am currently involved with WRST, which is UW Oshkosh’s radio club, and Titan TV. Through these organizations, I have not only gained valuable skills, but also lifelong friends. It’s very important to get involved with campus and it is also very easy.
