Hello there! My name is Mariah and I am a senior here at UWO! …That sounds good to say… “SENIOR at UWO!”

I am originally from a small town in Illinois called Byron. (Yes, this means I am a Chicago… Bears, Cubs, Bulls and Blackhawks fan!) My major is elementary education with a math minor.  I want to make a difference in the world, one little munchkin at a time.  And how cool is it to have summers off!?

Also, I love to run… like… really love to run!  So, as you can imagine I am a runner on our UW Oshkosh track & field team as well as a captain on the cross country team. I strongly encourage all students to get involved whether it is with athletics, clubs or other organizations. My teammates are my best friends on campus and make UWO truly feel like home. This is the feeling I want everyone to experience and my hope is that UW Oshkosh can do that for you as well!

I am here to answer your questions, so feel free to ask me any you may have!

Don’t be afraid because I am sure I was wondering the same things at some point too.
